📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services, contributing to frontend features where required • Build high-quality, well-tested software using modern engineering and DevOps best practices • Contribute to architecture, system design, and technical decision-making across the platform • Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, Engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders • Review code and mentor teammates • Troubleshoot production issues • Improve system performance, reliability, scalability, and engineering standards • Help build technology powering WorkMotion’s Talent Operations platform and global hiring and talent lifecycle operations

🎯 Requirements

• 5–6+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong backend focus and frontend exposure • Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, React, Microservices, REST APIs, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and AWS • Experience designing scalable systems and distributed architectures • Daily experience using AI coding tools such as Cursor and Claude Code • Strong understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD), software engineering best practices, and clean code principles • Excellent English communication skills, written and spoken
