📋 Description

• Serve as the technical point person for new client implementations in Asia-Pacific, primarily Australia, Papua New Guinea, and Indonesia • Support client delivery from scoping through go-live • Scope and prioritize client work with the engineering manager • Collaborate directly with enterprise client teams • Build and support data imports and integrations with HRIS, ERP, access control and door-lock, and single sign-on systems • Roll out new features and platform enhancements to existing clients • Build end-to-end features across Angular, REST APIs, and SQL Server stored procedures • Use Jira tickets and Claude Code to plan and deliver merge-ready changes • Move legacy reports into the web application and optimize slow queries • Automate repetitive engineering work with Claude Code where possible • Act as first technical responder for escalated production issues during working hours • Diagnose buggy deployments, slow reports, failed imports, scheduled jobs, and API performance issues • Identify root causes of recurring problems • Maintain runbooks and provide written handoffs to the Americas team • Review and approve pull requests across backend, database, and Angular code • Use Copilot, Claude Code, and Codex to assist with code review while making final merge decisions • Support production releases and troubleshoot deployment issues • Improve reliability and automation of database deployments across customer environments

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of professional C# and .NET development experience, with backend as a strength • Deep Microsoft SQL Server skills, including stored procedures, diagnosing slow queries, and production-safe scripts • Experience building and maintaining REST APIs and service-oriented code, including WCF or similar • Windows Server and IIS knowledge sufficient to deploy and troubleshoot services • Solid working knowledge of Angular and TypeScript • Experience reviewing, approving, and merging pull requests • Hands-on release and CI/CD experience, including release branches, build and deploy pipelines, and hotfixes • Experience debugging production issues in a large legacy codebase • Experience reading existing code before making changes • Production experience with Claude Code or Codex; Claude Code experience preferred • Fluent written and spoken English • Ability to explain technical issues clearly to customer IT staff and non-engineers • Comfortable working independently with clients and knowing when to escalate • Must be based in UTC+5 to UTC+10; UTC+8 preferred • Regular availability for early-morning overlap with the Americas engineering team • Experience tuning SQL Server performance or adding automated tests around legacy code is nice to have • Experience with Azure and automating database deployments is nice to have • Experience writing project instructions or reusable skills for coding agents is nice to have • Experience building business reports and data grids is nice to have • Industry experience in hospitality, travel, mining, or booking systems is nice to have
