📋 Description

• Lead the technical evolution of Yuno’s merchant experience, focused on Core platform, APIs, and payment integrations. • Own system and integration architecture connecting backend services and payment flows. • Contribute hands-on to development, architecture decisions, and code reviews. • Ensure scalable, maintainable, and well-documented solutions for enterprise merchants. • Collaborate with Product, Backend, and Payments teams to align platform and merchant needs. • Drive engineering best practices in API design, testing, and performance. • Support and mentor engineers through technical guidance and architectural direction.

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced English; conversational Spanish is a plus. • Experience in payments companies or payments-related teams. • Deep experience in payments infrastructure, including network tokens, routing, and transaction optimization. • Staff-level technical leadership experience, with the ability to influence architecture, mentor engineers, and represent technical decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences. • Strong backend engineering experience, with focus on implementation and system design. • Proven experience building and maintaining platforms, APIs, and integrations. • Solid understanding of scalable architectures and distributed systems. • Hands-on experience with Java, Golang or Kotlin. • Experience contributing to technical decisions and code reviews. • Hands-on experience leveraging AI tools and systems (e.g. Claude, AI agents, or LLM-powered workflows) to improve developer productivity or platform capabilities.
