• Receive regulations from all countries, analyze local and global implications, and issue working instructions and procedures to agents • Ensure implementation with Country Managers, Regional Customer Service Managers, and Country Customer Service Managers • Write and update Quality Assurance corporate policies, distribute working instructions and shipping procedures, and maintain relevant portals and the corporate website • Serve as a worldwide knowledge center for agencies regarding regulations, compliance, and commercial documentation • Implement the Manifest Corrections process, ensure correct reason-code registration, and implement management-defined KPIs • Update Central Tables and write procedures to ensure correct processes and compliance • Provide after-hours emergency support to worldwide agents across time zones • Represent Documentation in projects involving international regulations, process implementation, IT developments, and agency requirements • Analyze complex situations between agencies and mediate between parties • Consult legal advisors and international shipping organizations, including the World Customs Organization • Represent business requirements in documentation and regulatory issues when working with IT • Design and define needs and write BRDs and requests for IT developments and enhancements • Contribute to and verify that shipping issues, procedures, and work instructions are addressed in projects • Manage and update 35 Bill of Lading templates across all companies • Coordinate template changes with printing suppliers and agencies • Manage the purchase of secure paper for Original Bills of Lading to prevent worldwide fraud
• Bachelor’s Degree - a must • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in a shipping agency environment, or extensive end-to-end shipping documentation experience - a must • Demonstrated experience or high-level capabilities in implementing and standardizing processes on a global scale - a must • Strong business English communication skills, both written and verbal - a must • Flexibility to provide occasional support outside regular business hours, as required - a must
• Remote work options from the Regional Office in Virginia Beach or Hong Kong • Opportunity to work remotely or on-site in Israel • Occasional support outside regular business hours, including weekends, as required
