Beschreibung

• Oversee key areas of the legal operations function under limited direction from Litigation leadership • Manage the litigation project portfolio, triaging ideas through division intake and updating SharePoint and Jira through resolution • Apply project management and change management concepts to drive adoption of new processes, tools, and workflows • Identify operational gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities and implement practical solutions • Facilitate adoption of processes, workflows, tools, and vendor solutions • Communicate with attorneys, legal staff, litigation leadership, vendors, and business partners while safeguarding confidentiality • Schedule, prepare agendas for, and facilitate project and portfolio-management meetings • Prepare reports, analyses, and presentations for leadership • Partner with Claims Law and Subrogation Law leadership to discover needs and translate requirements into project, process, technology, and change initiatives • Coordinate litigation operations project-management activities, track progress, prioritize work, and resolve roadblocks • Partner with IT, strategic sourcing, facilities, finance, and other business functions on cross-functional initiatives • Lead key litigation operations projects directly • Travel as needed for divisional, team, and other in-person meetings

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience • Minimum of 8 years of relevant legal, legal operations, or litigation operations experience • Experience managing operational functions and supporting cross-functional initiatives • Advanced knowledge of legal concepts, terminology, and procedures relevant to legal or litigation support functions • Strong understanding of law office and litigation office administration, facilities management, budgeting, purchasing, and legal technology • Working knowledge of legal operations, litigation operations, project management, financial management, and process improvement concepts • Ability to manage people, prioritize competing demands, and operate with limited direction • Ability to analyze issues, develop solutions, and support implementation • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and matter or case management systems • Ability to prepare reports and analyses, lead meetings, and collaborate across functions • Litigation operations experience within a law firm, staff counsel organization, or insurance company • Experience supporting attorneys, paralegals, and legal support staff in a litigation environment • Paralegal certification or other relevant professional certifications • Experience preparing presentations and documenting workflows using PowerPoint or similar tools • Knowledge of change management or project management methodologies • Experience supporting multiple law offices or geographically dispersed teams • Experience leading moderately complex projects involving multiple stakeholders • Must be authorized to work indefinitely in the United States; CSAA does not provide visa sponsorship
