Beschreibung

• Lead the ELIP US/LATAM Machine Safety Program as the regional subject matter expert • Ensure compliance with ABB requirements, OSHA regulations, ANSI standards, NFPA requirements, and other applicable machine safety standards • Conduct machine risk assessments to identify hazards, evaluate risk levels, and develop safeguarding solutions • Manage machine safety projects from assessment through implementation, including engineering review, vendor coordination, installation, validation, budgeting, scheduling, and project closeout • Partner with operations, engineering, maintenance, HSE, contractors, and equipment suppliers to design, install, and validate machine safeguarding and control solutions • Develop standards, monitor project progress and corrective actions, validate risk-reduction measures, and share best practices across facilities • Report to the HSE Business Head

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of progressive experience with a focus on manufacturing OR Associate's degree with 7+ years of relevant experience • Certified Machinery Safety Expert (CMSE) required; must be able to obtain within 6 months if not currently • OSHA, ANSI B11, ISO 12100, or ISO 13849 certifications preferred • Willing to travel up to 50% percent of time • Advanced use of 3rd party database management systems and MS Office • Strong leadership and influencing skills • Strategic program development experience with a proven track record of developing and executing HSE initiatives • Project and change management expertise • Advanced technical and digital proficiency utilizing HSE management systems, data analytics, digital tools, and technology solutions • Professional HSE knowledge and compliance expertise, including advanced training and certifications in occupational health, safety, environmental management systems, auditing, regulatory compliance, and document control
