Beschreibung

• Provide respite care services at the family’s residence, a government-operated Child and Youth Services (CYS) facility, or another location approved by the Contract Office Representative • Level III: Assist with daily living activities, including meal preparation, bathing, feeding, toileting, lifting, positioning, dressing, and ensuring the individual’s safety • Level IV: Perform all Level III duties and provide care for complex conditions, including seizure activity, tube feedings, tracheotomy suctioning, and monitoring home medical equipment • Provide services in the local time zone of the installation • Support clients and families in technically demanding and mission-critical environments

🎯 Anforderungen

• Applicants must meet at least one qualification pathway for the applicable provider level • Level III Path 1: Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as child development or special education • Level III Path 2: Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with at least three years of experience working with individuals with special needs • Level III Path 3: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or related degree with at least four years of direct, documented experience working with individuals with special needs • Level IV Path 1: Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license • Level IV Path 2: Current, unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with at least five years of experience working with individuals with special needs • Level IV Path 3: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license or a bachelor’s degree in a related field, with at least three years of complex-care experience working with individuals with special needs • Services may be performed throughout the continental United States (CONUS), Alaska, Puerto Rico, and Hawaii • Availability during local installation time between 0600 and 2400, 7 days per week, excluding federal holidays
