Beschreibung

• Evaluate operational compliance across safety, flight operations, maintenance operations, procedures, and policies • Conduct initial and recurrent ground and flight training • Conduct transition, differences, and ROC ground and flight training • Correct and report out-of-compliance issues immediately and coordinate unresolved issues with aviation and maintenance leadership • Assist with flight and ground training schedules • Ensure standardized training and checking procedures are followed • Assist with pilot record keeping in accordance with applicable FARs and policies • Submit required reports on time • Operate advanced aviation training devices and full-motion simulators as required • Assist with aircraft checklist and pilot training program development • Assist in developing and conducting basic indoctrination, instrument, NVG, initial, and recurrent training • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Anforderungen

• High school diploma or GED and three to five years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience • Bachelor’s degree preferred • Previous Instructor/Check Airman experience • Commercial/Instrument rating required • Must meet total flight hour requirements • CFI / CFII (Rotor wing) or willingness to obtain within one year • ATP rating in aircraft category preferred • Recommendation from a current Air Methods Flight Instructor or Check Airman preferred • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to implement initial and recurrent training programs • Ability to work collaboratively with all levels • Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite skills, including Excel, Word, and Outlook • Regular scheduled attendance • Subject to DOT/FAA drug and/or alcohol testing requirements
