Beschreibung

• Visit client sites to carry out inspections and assess plant, equipment, and installations • Anticipate clients’ needs and help ensure compliance with relevant legislation • Work closely with the Engineer Surveyor team under a Senior Operations Team Leader • Prepare examination reports following inspections using electronic reporting • Conduct hands-on inspections of lifts, material handling equipment, cranes, and construction plant • Organise and diarise meetings, visits, and work allocation • Process documentation and complete general administration • Support and deputise for fellow Engineer Surveyors when required • Travel within the allocated local work area to visit clients

🎯 Anforderungen

• Experienced engineer with good knowledge of the Lift and Crane discipline • Up-to-date knowledge and understanding of relevant compliance and regulatory rules and procedures for the Lift and Crane discipline • Background in lifts, cranes, or materials handling equipment, with hands-on manufacturing, repair, or maintenance experience • Strong customer interaction skills • Good oral and written communication skills • NVQ Level 3 or above in a Mechanical-related subject • Full valid UK driving licence • Effective time management and ability to organise weekly work independently • Comfortable using tablets and smartphones as essential work tools • Willingness to make informed decisions and take responsibility • Ability to plan short-, medium-, and long-term work • Ability to travel effectively within the allocated local work area • Incorporated Engineer status desirable
