Beschreibung

• Provide direct operational and people leadership for an assigned team of coders and specialties • Lead, coach, and develop team members • Allocate work based on complexity, volume, specialty, and individual capacity • Support recruiting, onboarding, and competency validation • Set performance expectations and conduct regular evaluations • Manage complex coding, documentation, payer, and account-level escalations • Oversee daily coding operations, encounter completion, work distribution, and backlog risks • Oversee coding audits, corrective actions, compliance initiatives, education, and reporting • Monitor coding quality, productivity, turnaround times, escalation trends, audit findings, and coding-related denials • Partner with Billing, Revenue Cycle, providers, clinical leadership, Compliance, and authorizations teams • Prepare and document coding guidance, rules, and specialty-specific nuances • Drive clean claim submission, reduce denials, and protect revenue integrity

🎯 Anforderungen

• High School Diploma or equivalent required • Bachelor's degree preferred • 3–6 years of experience in revenue cycle management, including physician collections, A/R follow-up, and denial management • 3+ years in a leadership or management role • Strong understanding of billing, CPT, ICD-10, and payer guidelines • Proven record of driving revenue performance and improving operational outcomes • Experience managing client relationships in a healthcare or revenue cycle environment • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data insights into action • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, and reporting tools • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment • Ability to influence, motivate, and develop high-performing teams • Strategic, results-driven, and revenue-focused mindset • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels
