Beschreibung

• Define and evolve the target architecture for FuzeRx’s core B2B and consumer platforms • Drive the technical roadmap for transitioning legacy systems into modern, scalable, cohesive architectures • Lead design and implementation of technically challenging initiatives, including high-volume API integrations, pharmacy fulfillment logistics, and distributed data consistency • Mentor Staff, Senior, and Mid-level engineers • Institute design reviews, pairing sessions, and technical brown-bags • Establish and enforce coding, testing, CI/CD, and security-by-design standards • Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering Managers, and Pharmacy Operations • Architect systems supporting HIPAA and SOC2 compliance, patient data privacy, and secure messaging • Optimize system performance, reduce latency, and improve PostgreSQL and AWS database efficiency • Evaluate tools, frameworks, and AWS services through proof-of-concepts • Report to the VP of Engineering and operate across multiple product squads

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline • 10+ years of progressive, hands-on experience in software engineering and systems design • 3+ years operating at a Staff, Principal, or equivalent senior architectural level, driving technical initiatives across multiple teams • Extensive background building and scaling distributed, high-throughput, and highly available B2B SaaS or transactional systems • Standard business hours; expected to serve as a Tier 1 technical escalation point for critical architectural outages • Mastery of modern cloud architectures • Deep, hands-on expertise in AWS, PostgreSQL, Ruby on Rails, Python, TypeScript, and JavaScript • Familiarity with Slack, GSuite, and Jira • Exceptional communication skills to explain complex technical trade-offs to non-technical executives and stakeholders • Strong bias for action and pragmatism over architectural purity • Proven ability to design and implement complex distributed systems, optimize complex relational database queries, and establish automated deployment pipelines • Advanced knowledge of healthcare data interoperability standards such as HL7, FHIR, and NCPDP, and EHR integrations • Physical ability to work at a computer terminal for extended periods and perform the listed physical requirements • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; no visa sponsorship or transfer available
