Beschreibung

• Lead development of Independent Cost Estimates (ICE), ROM estimates, and detailed bid estimates across all design phases. • Perform quantity take-offs and develop labor, material, and equipment cost estimates across all trades. • Manage subcontractor solicitation, bid leveling, negotiation, and award processes. • Conduct constructability reviews and value engineering to optimize project cost and schedule. • Develop detailed General Conditions estimates aligned with project schedules. • Coordinate with engineering, development, procurement, and construction teams. • Manage RFI processes and support bid documentation in Procore. • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards. • Support proposal development including pricing structures and cost narratives. • Developing and managing strong relationships with subcontractors across our national footprint.

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience. • Minimum 7 years of experience in commercial or utility-scale construction estimating. • Ability to review confidential US security information. • Ability to travel 10–25% as required. • 5 years’ experience with federal and non-federal construction projects, including compliance with federal contracting requirements. • Extensive experience in renewable energy projects including utility-scale solar (PV), Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and data center infrastructure. • Strong proficiency with Procore for RFI management, document control, and construction coordination. • Advanced experience using RSMeans or equivalent cost databases for benchmarking and validation. • Full project lifecycle experience from development through construction and closeout. • Experience with high-voltage and medium-voltage systems (substations, transmission, and distribution). • Demonstrated ability to lead preconstruction teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Strong understanding of market conditions, labor productivity, and regional pricing variations. • Experience developing risk-based contingency and escalation strategies. • Familiarity with estimating software such as HCSS, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, or similar tools. • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder coordination skills. • Valid driver’s license in good standing. • Maintain an “open mind” as it relates to learning new skills and working with a diverse group of engineering, construction and subcontractor professionals. • Raising the bar, and elevating quality in everything you do mind set & work ethic.
