Beschreibung

• Contribute to the development of federal government affairs strategies and own their execution across the assigned portfolio • Monitor and analyze federal legislative and regulatory developments impacting the organization • Build and maintain relationships with Members of Congress, committee staff, personal office staff, and senior Executive Branch and agency officials • Prepare briefing materials, reports, and presentations for internal and external audiences • Lead meetings with Congressional offices, Executive Branch officials and agencies, industry groups, and other stakeholders • Draft and deliver talking points, testimony, letters, comments, and other advocacy materials • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align government affairs activities with business objectives and contribute to business plans • Conduct policy research and provide recommendations to senior management • Represent Analog Devices in relevant trade associations and coalitions • Translate federal policy developments into business impact, risks, and opportunities for senior leadership • Independently represent Analog Devices before Congressional offices and Executive Branch officials and agencies in Washington, D.C. • Oversee a portfolio including environmental policy and regulations, workforce development, tax and incentives policy, government-funded research and science and technology funding, and other domestic policy areas

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Public Policy, Law, or a related field • Minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in federal government affairs, public policy, or related roles • Direct engagement with Congress and/or the Executive Branch • Experience on Capitol Hill, in a federal agency, or in a corporate/association government affairs role strongly preferred • Strong understanding of federal legislative and regulatory processes • Demonstrated ability to represent an organization independently and credibly with senior officials • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills • Ability to convey complex technical and policy issues clearly and persuasively • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment and discretion, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment • Strong analytical and research skills • Experience working with federal agencies that interact with the semiconductor industry or other technology industries preferred • Knowledge of semiconductor industry-specific regulations and policies preferred • Advanced degree in a related field preferred • Candidates must be based in the Washington, D.C. area • Applicants may be subject to export licensing review unless they are U.S. Citizens, U.S. Permanent Residents, or protected individuals as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)
