Beschreibung

• Influence engineering strategy across products and teams • Define long-term technical direction, architectural principles, and engineering standards • Identify and solve complex technical challenges spanning teams, products, and platforms • Partner with the VP of Engineering, CTO, and senior leaders to align technical investments with business priorities • Evaluate technical decisions, platform investments, and modernization initiatives • Drive adoption of AI technologies across products, engineering productivity, and customer outcomes • Architect, develop, and deliver AI-powered product capabilities and intelligent automation solutions • Lead initiatives involving LLMs, RAG, AI agents, MCP, and agentic workflows • Establish standards for AI-assisted software development, including code quality, security, validation, and responsible use • Evaluate emerging AI technologies and determine measurable value • Mentor engineering teams on AI implementation and evaluation methods • Write, review, test, and deploy production code • Lead design and implementation of complex, business-critical software capabilities • Serve as technical escalation point for difficult engineering and production challenges • Drive engineering excellence across Java, Spring Boot, APIs, microservices, distributed systems, and cloud-native platforms • Build reference implementations, prototypes, and foundational components • Ensure scalability, security, reliability, performance, and maintainability • Guide evolution of enterprise SaaS architecture and lead modernization initiatives • Establish reusable engineering patterns, frameworks, and standards • Improve platform performance, resilience, observability, and operational efficiency • Champion automation, CI/CD, DevSecOps, testing, and modern software development practices • Use engineering metrics and measurable outcomes to evaluate improvements • Advise Engineering, Product, Architecture, Security, and Executive Leadership • Mentor Principal Engineers, senior developers, architects, and emerging technical leaders • Lead technical discussions and influence decisions across the organization • Communicate complex engineering concepts to technical and nontechnical stakeholders • Foster collaboration, technical excellence, innovation, and ownership across globally distributed teams

🎯 Anforderungen

• 15+ years of professional software engineering experience • Proven experience operating as a Distinguished Engineer, Principal Engineer, Staff Engineer, Chief Architect, or equivalent senior technical individual contributor • Exceptional hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, distributed systems, microservices, APIs, and enterprise application architecture • Deep experience designing and delivering highly scalable, secure, and reliable enterprise SaaS platforms • Demonstrated success leading major technical initiatives spanning multiple engineering teams or product areas • Proven experience building and delivering AI-powered software capabilities in production environments • Strong practical experience with AI-assisted software development tools and modern AI engineering workflows • Experience with Large Language Models, RAG, AI agents, MCP, or comparable AI frameworks • Deep understanding of AWS or Azure, including cloud architecture, distributed systems, and AI integration capabilities • Extensive experience with CI/CD, DevSecOps, Kubernetes, containers, and Infrastructure as Code • Strong understanding of enterprise security, application performance, reliability, and operational excellence • Demonstrated ability to resolve highly complex technical challenges and critical production issues • Experience influencing architectural direction and technical standards across multiple teams • Proven ability to mentor senior technical contributors and elevate engineering capabilities • Exceptional communication skills and ability to influence executive and technical stakeholders • Track record of translating technical innovation into measurable product, engineering, or business outcomes • Demonstrated technical leadership through major engineering contributions, open source projects, publications, patents, industry recognition, or equivalent achievements • Preferred: experience with Salesforce technologies, APIs, metadata, DevOps workflows, or enterprise applications built for the Salesforce ecosystem • Preferred: experience developing DevSecOps platforms, CI/CD tooling, release automation, or data protection solutions • Preferred: experience introducing AI-powered capabilities or agentic workflows into enterprise software products • Preferred: experience guiding major architectural modernization initiatives • Preferred: experience working in highly regulated industries or security-sensitive enterprise environments • Preferred: experience collaborating with globally distributed engineering and product teams • Must live in and be eligible to work in the US
