Beschreibung

• Support and modernize EDI, interoperability, and FHIR capabilities across batch and real-time processing • Ensure underlying applications and servers remain reliable and secure • Solve complex production challenges and improve systems through automation • Work across on-premises, OpenShift, and cloud environments • Formulate and define system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding • Design, develop, modify, or integrate complex information systems • Optimize application systems and procedures for capacity, operating time, response time, and desired results • Design, code, test, debug, and document programs, subroutines, and scripts • Develop and implement program/system test plans and data verification methods • Respond to system failures and performance events to reduce downtime and prevent recurrence • Research software and hardware products to support recommendations, budgeting, and purchasing • Act as an expert technical resource to development staff throughout development and implementation

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience required • Equivalent years of experience: one year of technical experience for every year of college requested • 1 year of experience with information technology concepts, application development methodology, terminology, and standards • 5 years of systems and programming experience • 1 year of expert working knowledge of at least one programming language in use at BCBST • Enterprise application and Windows Server support experience • Advanced SQL Server skills • Hands-on scripting and automation experience • Understanding of FHIR standards • Experience with healthcare data and/or EDI • Ability to troubleshoot complex platform and data-processing issues and address system vulnerabilities and health • Experience with PowerShell and AIX Korn shell • Preferred: Ansible Automation Platform, including playbooks, vaults, configuration management, and CI/CD integration • Preferred: Working knowledge of Java and related technologies • Preferred: Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, DevOps, OpenShift, REST, SOAP, and Web Services • Ability to participate in a regular on-call rotation • Sponsorship is not available for this role • Proven IT, analysis, design, and coding skills • Demonstrated success leading large and complex projects • Top-level technical experience in applications systems analysis and programming • Ability to interpret and translate technical or complex concepts for technical and business personnel • Ability to manage multiple tasks and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical coworkers
