Beschreibung

• Assist project management in developing and executing site-specific safety programs and Emergency Action Plans • Implement and administer safety programs at worksites • Conduct safety orientations and training programs • Review and track safety violations, unsafe conditions, good catches, and related metrics • Conduct work-area safety audits • Provide daily, weekly, and monthly safety reports • Review safety indicator data, documentation, and trend analyses • Review major incident analyses with corporate management • Analyze safety, injury, and hazard statistics • Coordinate OSHA reporting and posting requirements • Administer BCM/BIM, Bureau Veritas Qesis, and developer safety audit programs • Review safety submittals and attend contractor preconstruction and preparatory meetings • Monitor trade partner work plans and activities for safety concerns • Assist with onsite injury and case management • Organize and implement safety celebrations and recognition/reward programs • Evaluate and provide solutions for industrial hygiene concerns • Maintain operational knowledge of construction safety, OSHA, ANSI, and applicable standards • Serve as a resource for project safety issues and concerns • Attend or chair safety meetings • Accompany safety, health, insurance, and OSHA personnel on work-site tours • Assist the Project Manager with management of the project safety budget

🎯 Anforderungen

• Ability to interact with staff at all levels in an ever-changing environment • In-depth knowledge of construction products, plans, specifications, project workflow/sequencing, and PV construction best practices • Strong understanding of NEC • Experience in a similar capacity on a commercial project team directing construction, assembly, or electrical crews/tradesmen • Documented history of managing field crews and subcontractors • Knowledge of PV components, including modules, inverters, and racking systems preferred • Tower Safety and Climbing Certification • Strong Microsoft Office familiarity • OSHA 500, First Aid, and CPR or equivalent required, or ability to obtain within a short period • Clean driving record and valid state driver's license • Ability to travel as required • Successful completion of a pre-employment background check • Possible pre-employment drug screen depending on job responsibility • Knowledge and implementation of LOTO safety procedures • Detail-oriented, resourceful, and able to manage shifting priorities • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to interact positively and effectively with contractors • Regular, reliable, and predictable performance • Ability to work collaboratively with others • BS in occupational safety and health preferred, or equivalent experience • Minimum 3 years of renewable energy experience in wind, solar, or battery required • Ability to ascend and descend ladders, scaffolds, and stairs • Ability to work in confined spaces and near loud equipment • Ability to lift or move 25/50 pounds regularly or occasionally • Ability to respond quickly to sounds and recognize dangerous situations • Ability to move safely over uneven terrain and traverse irregular or steep terrain • Ability to climb ladders while carrying up to 40 pounds • Ability to wear personal protective gear most of the day • Ability to work in cold environments, on concrete floors, and under extreme weather conditions • Ability to work around machinery, vehicles, heavy equipment, moving parts, noise, and slippery or uneven surfaces
