Beschreibung

• Develop highly scalable and efficient applications using Java and related technologies • Design and implement cloud-based solutions using Google Cloud Platform and/or AWS or Azure • Containerise applications using Docker and orchestrate services with Kubernetes on GCP (GKE) and/or Azure (AKS) • Implement Pub/Sub event handling using GCP Pub/Sub and Kafka • Build composable architectures using domain modelling, services, micro-services, service mesh, and circuit-breaker patterns • Develop micro-frontends using Webpack5 with module federation • Work with SQL and NoSQL cloud database technologies • Automate CI/CD pipelines with quality gates and automated testing tools • Implement observability and insights using OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, or equivalent tools • Maintain documentation as code using Backstage.io, GitHub repositories, and README files • Translate business goals into technology solutions • Identify, resolve, and appropriately escalate potential issues • Influence technical project outcomes and lead technical issue resolution within the domain • Work independently with a high degree of autonomy • Make and influence decisions affecting solution design, development, and service provision • Work in a matrix-managed environment with mixed teams, contractors, and outsourced vendors

🎯 Anforderungen

• Minimum 10+ years’ experience developing highly scalable and efficient applications using Java, JavaScript, Node.js, TypeScript, or equivalent • Experience with Google Cloud Platform stack or equivalent AWS or Azure experience • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes, including GKE and/or AKS • Experience with GCP Pub/Sub and Kafka • Knowledge of domain modelling, services, micro-services, Istio service mesh, and circuit-breaker patterns • Experience with Webpack5 and module federation • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, including Postgres, MongoDB, Cassandra, or Redis • Experience with CI/CD automation, Jenkins, GitHub, GitHub Actions, and quality/testing tools • Experience with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, or equivalent observability tools • Experience with Backstage.io, GitHub repositories, and README documentation • Knowledge of Agile methods, coding standards, and source control techniques • Excellent test script and documentation skills • Experience in more than one service delivery function: development, support, software design, or environment configuration • Knowledge of a broad range of technologies or expertise in a single technology • Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team • Flexible attitude and ability to perform under pressure • Ability to translate business goals into technology solutions • Experience working in a matrix-managed environment with contractors and outsourced vendors • Logical approach to software solutions and problem solving • Proactive issue identification and resolution with appropriate escalation • Ability to influence technical project outcomes • Ability to adapt to situations requiring interpretive and constructive thinking and evaluative judgement • Ability to work independently with a high degree of autonomy
