Beschreibung

• Lead, manage, and grow multiple teams of product-focused software engineers • Mentor and guide the professional and technical development of engineers • Work with product managers to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenarios • Continuously improve software engineering practices • Design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions across full-stack development tools and technologies • Lead the craftsmanship, availability, resilience, and scalability of solutions • Stay current with technology trends, experiment with and learn new technologies, participate in internal and external technology communities, and mentor engineering community members • Encourage innovation, cutting-edge technology adoption, inclusion, outside-the-box thinking, teamwork, self-organization, and diversity • Improve the velocity of the team and other teams • Lead deployment of new and existing applications into AWS environments • Break monolithic applications into microservice architectures and build new microservices • Develop customer-facing web applications and services for high-visibility features and products

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Engineering) • At least 5 years of people management experience • At least 7 years of experience in software engineering and solution architecture, enterprise architecture and design patterns, cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud), and data architecture • Preferred: Master's Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering • Preferred: 10+ years of experience in software engineering and solution architecture, enterprise architecture and design patterns, web technologies, distributed HPC and ML systems, cloud computing, and data architecture • 10+ years of professional experience coding in commonly used languages such as Go, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Rust, C#, and Scala • 8+ years of experience with databases and database management systems • 10+ years of professional experience across the full system development lifecycle • 5+ years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies • 10+ years of experience with networking protocols and integration with third-party distributed systems • 5+ years of experience mentoring senior engineers and driving professional development within technical teams • 2+ years of experience leading cross-domain architectural reviews and establishing coding and design standards • Expertise in the strategic application of agentic AI coding tools • Capital One will consider sponsoring a new qualified applicant for employment authorization
