Beschreibung

• Develop Android client code solutions aligned with Product Strategy and engineering best practices, design guidelines, and principles • Partner with Software Engineers, UX/UI, Quality Engineers, Product Owners/Analysts to deliver high-performing customer experiences • Participate in agile ceremonies and help deliver team commitments on time and with high quality • Advocate for the mobile platform in internal and external developer communities • Continue learning mobile technologies including Kotlin, Swift, and third-party libraries • Influence group discussions and incorporate broader team feedback • Mentor junior to mid-level team members • Collaborate with developers across Android, iOS, APIs, Web, and other disciplines • Own and lead delivery of major components and platform needs with senior engineers and Architects • Share best practices and improve processes across sprint teams • Identify technical obstacles and develop creative solutions with the team • Review pull requests and ensure adherence to Kotlin and other language idioms • Provide subject-matter-expert-level leadership

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor’s Degree • At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience; internship experience does not apply • At least 3 years of experience building Android applications • At least 3 years of experience with Kotlin • Master’s Degree preferred • 5+ years of experience building Android applications preferred • 4+ years of experience with Kotlin preferred • 4+ years of experience in open source frameworks preferred • 2+ years of experience with Agile practices preferred • Experience leveraging interactive AI tooling beyond basic code completion preferred • Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization or provide immigration-related support
