Beschreibung

• Design and engineer cables, associated components, and overall systems to secure new work and deliver projects • Support Manufacturing and Installation to ensure technical surety during project delivery • Act as a technical consultant to customers and support Sales in making the technical sale • Administer High Voltage Cable design and provide technical expertise for complex electrical cable systems • Create detailed design specifications and direct system integration • Evaluate designs, materials, and methods against project requirements and industry regulations • Optimize the cable design process from concept through testing and final implementation • Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders on specifications, materials, timelines, and technical issues • Analyze project execution, system performance, and field installation data and recommend improvements • Support routine testing and performance evaluations of cable systems • Communicate with internal teams, external partners, and customers regarding design expectations, project progress, and troubleshooting • Identify improvements to cable system designs and production methods and collaborate with senior engineers on enhancements and technical challenges

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor's Degree • Specialized Degree: Electrical Engineering • 5-7 Years Experience • Professional Engineering (PE) • Domestic, occasionally international travel up to 25% of time • Ability to work in office and plant/warehouse floor conditions, including extreme heat/cold and loud noise • Ability to use required equipment: hard hat, computer/keyboard, safety glasses, safety shoes, and safety vest • Competencies: Action Oriented; Balances Stakeholders; Collaborates; Customer Focus; Nimble Learning; Plans and Aligns • Skills: Continuous Improvement Process; Control Systems; Engineering Design Process; Influencing Skills; Investigation; New Product Development; Positivity; Project Schedules; Schematic Capture; Troubleshooting (Problem Solving)
