Beschreibung

• Enhance reporting and process needs for the Inventory Accounting team • Reconcile inventory transactions to financial records and ensure item costing, values, and timing are accurate • Analyze inventory costing weekly, identify anomalies and transactional errors, and provide corrective actions • Reconcile the inventory clearing GL account, resolve transaction errors, and identify pricing discrepancies • Review inventory reconciliation files and provide feedback or change requests • Assist with the monthly final inventory upload process for audit accuracy • Execute cost reporting functions during month-end close, including monthly journal-entry reclassification for sample orders • Travel to selected inventory facilities twice per year to assist with physical counts and onsite auditor reviews • Maintain trackers for open operations and inventory claims • Support SOP and documentation for new and developing processes • Participate in month-end close procedures, executive reporting meetings, and annual audit data aggregation • Conduct ad hoc analysis for business and financial reviews • Report to the Senior Manager, Inventory Accounting

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Mathematics, Supply Chain, or similar field • ~1-3 years of experience in a corporate finance, accounting, operations, or similar setting • Prior experience in an inventory-based industry, especially CPG, is a plus • Experience with ERP systems; NetSuite preferred • Strong desire to learn and ability to be dynamic and agile in a fast-moving environment • Significant attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and strong analytical ability • Ability to manage concurrent responsibilities, prioritize effectively, and deliver results with an ownership mentality • Discipline and accountability in a remote work environment • Proficiency in Excel and comfortability working with large datasets • Outstanding verbal and written communication and relationship management skills • Must reside in the United States • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship now or in the future
