Beschreibung

• Provide guidance and technical expertise to the University’s research community in award profiling • Work independently and enforce compliance • Provide expert advice and training to faculty and administrators on University/School and external agency research administration procedures and policies • Support grant reporting and management for approximately 4,500 active grants and contracts • Independently evaluate risk and resolve issues • Develop procedures and improve accuracy, timeliness, and compliance related to award setup and reporting • Analyze complex awards and identify financial or compliance exposure • Recommend solutions • Support training and continuous improvement initiatives across the research administration community • Maintain knowledge of regulatory and legal frameworks and compliance rules affecting sponsored research agreements • Review and correct audit reports to ensure data integrity • Identify workflow improvements, reduce errors, and strengthen internal controls • Develop training tools, guidance documents, and reference materials • Profile awards, allocations, and cost share requests • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and/or experience may substitute for minimum education • 2 years of relevant experience • Sponsored Research administration in a large university environment experience preferred • Uniform Guidance and regulatory requirements for grant accounting experience preferred • Ability to interact professionally with federal government staff, sponsoring organizations, faculty, and administrative staff preferred • Ability to read and understand grant terms as they relate to reporting and transactional approval requirements preferred • Ability to research multiple years of financial activity in sponsored agreements preferred • No specific certification/professional license is required • A driver's license is not required
