Beschreibung

• Advise individuals and organisations facing criminal investigations for corporate manslaughter, gross negligence manslaughter and breaches of health and safety, fire safety, food safety and environmental law • Advise on product safety and provide advice and representations to clients involved in inquests and Public Inquiries • Work on a busy and varied caseload encompassing contentious and non-contentious regulatory issues • Act as a client point of contact in accordance with client protocols • Assist with business development activities, including pitches, presentations and training events • Manage files in line with firm and client protocols, including billing, credit control, WIP, file closures and management information • Assume responsibility for quality control and benchmark compliance on own caseload • Maintain knowledge of other practice areas and an active internal network • Develop technical knowledge through training, publications and Law Society CPD

🎯 Anforderungen

• At least 5 years PQE with experience gained within a regulatory and/or commercially focused environment, in private practice or elsewhere • Experience advising on regulatory work including HSE/Police investigations, witness interviews, interviews under caution, prosecutions, sentencing hearings and inquests • Experience in vehicle operator licence issues, environmental breaches, trading standards, product safety, food safety and fire safety would be beneficial • Experience of business development and building client relationships • Willingness to travel at short notice to assist clients on the ground • Driving licence essential • Excellent legal drafting, analytical and technical skills • Ability to meet and exceed budgetary requirements in terms of time and fee income • Alignment with the Firm’s Cultural Principles: Clear, Creative, Determined and Supportive
