Beschreibung

• Process patient insurance information through the patient intake process • Submit insurance claims accurately and on time • Collect payments on outstanding patient balances • Perform revenue operations duties related to medical insurance billing, collections, or patient access • Communicate with insurance payers regarding patient coverage and reimbursement for dialysis services • Review and submit system setup requests to ensure center and payer information is loaded into the billing system • Respond to payer communications • Collaborate with revenue operations teams to maintain seamless processes • Partner with insurance counselors, social workers, and facility administrators • Identify process changes and continuous improvement opportunities • Maintain current patient account information • Maintain confidentiality of company and patient information • Attend team meetings, phone conferences, and training as needed • Work overtime as needed

🎯 Anforderungen

• High school diploma or equivalent • Basic computer skills • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook • Healthcare Credits or Revenue Cycle Management experience • Knowledge or experience working with a variety of healthcare insurance payers • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills • Ability to adapt quickly and manage stress • Relationship-building skills • Ability to maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations and DaVita policies • Willingness to work overtime as needed • Willingness to attend team meetings, phone conferences, and training as needed • Ability to follow teammate guidelines, employment policies, and department or company procedures
