Beschreibung

• Participate as a member of a project team comprising Project Management, Buyers, Customer Service, and other cross-functional partners to complete conveyor and material handling projects • Own and manage all engineering-related project tasks, including engineering schedules, budgets, and engineering change orders • Lead discussions and drive results with vendors and suppliers to review and evaluate system and equipment designs • Review customer specifications and incorporate requirements throughout the design process • Provide technical support throughout the engineering process • Use AutoCAD and other drafting tools for system reviews, vendor coordination, and customer approvals • Check drawings produced by others for accuracy • Validate handshakes and data exchange between automation solutions to ensure integration within the overall system design • Lead and mentor Engineering team members when project needs require it

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related area • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Navisworks • Working knowledge of Inventor or similar tools is a plus • Expert knowledge of standard engineering concepts, practices, and procedures, particularly in the material handling industry • Ability to apply creativity and latitude to solve problems • Ability to evaluate and anticipate project tasks with minimal direction and work to project timelines • Years of experience with Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS), Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs), Pallet Shuttle ASRS, and high-speed conveyor systems • Experience leading, mentoring, or managing other team members • Ability to communicate effectively across teams and functions • Positive attitude and ability to work well with others
