Beschreibung

• Define BIM strategies supporting organizational growth and innovation in partnership with senior and executive leadership • Develop and enforce mechanical BIM standards, templates, and model management protocols • Drive adoption of Revit, Navisworks, Dynamo, CDE platforms, and integrated design technologies • Lead change management efforts to improve BIM performance, efficiency, and collaboration • Oversee the mechanical BIM roadmap and alignment with departmental and firmwide goals • Oversee daily mechanical BIM operations, quality, accuracy, and coordination • Establish and monitor QA/QC workflows for models, deliverables, and data management • Support and mentor project BIM Leads and ensure adherence to DLB protocols • Coordinate with IT and technology groups on system reliability, data security, and workflow optimization • Implement performance metrics and continuous improvement initiatives • Serve as a high-level technical liaison during client coordination, design-assist, and construction phases • Represent BIM during client and internal reviews and identify digital opportunities • Collaborate with Project Managers, Design Directors, and Engineers of Record to align model fidelity and design intent • Support business development and client presentations by demonstrating BIM capabilities • Build relationships with clients, contractors, and partners to improve project outcomes • Evaluate emerging design and construction technologies and lead pilot initiatives • Integrate data-driven insights, automation, and interoperability tools into workflows • Partner with software vendors and internal developers to expand BIM functionality through customization or scripting • Train and mentor staff in advanced BIM techniques, computational design, and model-based collaboration • Promote BIM use for sustainability, performance analysis, and lifecycle data management • Complete assigned tasks and deliverables on time and on budget • Lead strategic use of technology, digital platforms, and AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency, forecasting, documentation, reporting, and quality processes • Support adoption of analytics, data visualization, and digital construction management platforms • Ensure technology solutions align with data security, privacy, and operational integrity standards • Promote innovation, continuous improvement, performance, and scalability • Perform other related duties as assigned

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, architectural engineering, or related field • Minimum of thirteen (13) years of experience in mechanical design and BIM management • Demonstrated leadership in BIM implementation across multiple projects and teams • Autodesk Revit Professional Certification or equivalent experience required • Advanced understanding of BIM processes, standards, and integrated design delivery • Strong technical foundation in HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems design within the BIM environment • Advanced knowledge of BIM software ecosystems and digital collaboration platforms • Understanding of model data structures, interoperability, and visualization for decision-making • Expert skill in leading multi-disciplinary BIM teams and coordinating with project leadership • Advanced skill in creating and implementing digital workflows and automation tools • Advanced ability to maintain model accuracy, compliance, and consistency across projects • Skilled in developing and delivering BIM education and competency programs • Ability to derive insights from model data to inform design and operational strategy • Ability to align BIM initiatives with organizational and client goals • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, technology-driven environment • Excellent ability to convey complex digital concepts to technical and non-technical audiences • Ability to anticipate and implement emerging technologies to improve performance and value • Skilled at leading teams through technological transformation • Ability to remain in a stationary position and frequently move through office, facility, and other environments • May occasionally move equipment weighing up to 25 pounds • Up to 10% business travel, potentially to any or all 50 US states • Professional Engineer (PE) or equivalent registration preferred
