Beschreibung

• Lead an engineering team, owning delivery and professional development • Drive continuous improvement through fast iterations • Develop engineers through 1:1s, growth plans, performance reviews, and candid feedback • Develop future tech leads, engineering managers, staff engineers, and senior individual contributors • Write, review, and maintain code at a senior level • Drive architectural and technical design decisions with senior individual contributors • Uphold engineering standards through pull-request reviews and a healthy release process • Lead an AI-augmented engineering team while maintaining quality standards • Own team commitments, planning, prioritization, and delivery • Partner with the Technical Product Owner and Product team on scope, sequencing, tradeoffs, and roadmap • Align engineering work with broader business objectives • Re-plan, re-prioritize, and re-staff as business needs change • Own hiring, interviewing, recruiting, coaching, and performance decisions • Mentor peer engineering managers and share operating practices • Communicate context and prioritized escalations to leadership • Empower senior engineers to own product areas • Partner with Product, Design, GTM, Customer Success, and other teams

🎯 Anforderungen

• 10+ years of engineering experience, including 4+ years in engineering management roles where you actively coded as part of your responsibilities • Hands-on experience building cloud-based SaaS products and running services in production for Azure; AWS/GCP experience is ideally additional • Experience owning availability, cost, and the customer-facing surface of production services • Strong background understanding and leading teams in the FinOps space • API-first mindset; products available through APIs for humans and agents • Experience managing multidisciplinary teams, including full-stack and data engineers • Track record of visibly transforming engineering teams with measurable improvements in delivery velocity, technical quality, or team caliber • Deep technical fluency in the team's primary stack; ability to read, write, and review code at a senior level • Strong philosophy on hiring, coaching, performance management, and technical decision-making • Excellent judgment under pressure and ability to make decisions with imperfect information • Direct, candid communication skills • Strong Golang knowledge or experience (bonus) • Established AI-augmented workflow and experience applying AI tools and agentic workflows (bonus) • Hands-on experience with more than one cloud provider (bonus) • Experience scaling teams, processes, or technical systems (bonus)
