Beschreibung

• Lead an engineering team, owning delivery and team development • Drive continuous improvement through fast iterations • Support team members’ professional well-being and career development through 1:1s, growth plans, performance reviews, and feedback • Develop future technical and people leaders • Write and review code and contribute to technical decisions • Drive architectural and technical design decisions with senior individual contributors • Maintain engineering standards through pull-request reviews and healthy release processes • Lead an AI-augmented engineering team • Own team commitments, planning, prioritization, roadmap, and delivery • Partner with the Technical Product Owner and Product team on scope, sequencing, and tradeoffs • Align engineering work with broader business objectives • Re-plan, re-prioritize, and re-staff as business needs change • Own hiring, interviewing, recruiting, coaching, and performance decisions • Mentor other engineering managers and share operating practices • Communicate effectively with leadership, engineers, Product, Design, GTM, Customer Success, and other teams

🎯 Anforderungen

• 10+ years of engineering experience, including 4+ years in engineering management roles where you actively coded as part of your responsibilities • Hands-on experience building cloud-based SaaS products and running services in production for Azure; AWS/GCP experience is ideally additionally required • Strong background in understanding and leading teams in the FinOps space • API-first mindset and experience building products available through APIs • Experience managing multidisciplinary teams, including full-stack engineers and data engineers • Track record of visibly transforming engineering teams through measurable improvements in delivery velocity, technical quality, or team caliber • Deep technical fluency in the team's primary stack; ability to read, write, and review code at a senior level • Clear philosophy on hiring, coaching, performance management, and technical decision-making • Excellent judgment under pressure • Direct, candid communication • Strong Golang knowledge or experience (bonus) • Established AI-augmented workflow and experience applying AI tools and agentic workflows (bonus) • Hands-on experience with more than one cloud provider (bonus) • Background in scaling teams, processes, or technical systems (bonus)
