Beschreibung

• Develop and evolve foundational software and services for product and development teams • Collaborate with peers through code reviews, support, mentorship, and unified technical direction • Support feature teams and facilitate adoption of platform features • Architect, design, implement, and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform • Design reusable IaC modules and implement unit and integration testing • Deploy, configure, maintain, monitor, and optimize Kubernetes clusters on GCP GKE and AWS EKS • Manage node groups, network policies, service meshes, cluster upgrades, availability, and fault tolerance • Develop and maintain CI/CD systems using tools such as Argo CD or Atlantis • Automate build and release processes and optimize pipeline performance • Diagnose and resolve performance, scalability, and security issues • Create incident response plans and post-mortem analyses • Drive automation for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and monitoring • Partner with development teams to understand infrastructure and developer experience needs • Develop internal platform tools, APIs, and services across the software development lifecycle • Implement security best practices, access control, vulnerability management, and data encryption • Ensure compliance with SOC 2 and GDPR and conduct security audits and penetration testing

🎯 Anforderungen

• 6+ years of proven experience in platform engineering, DevOps engineering, or related roles • Strong hands-on experience with GCP/AWS, Kubernetes (GKE/EKS), and Terraform • Experience building and maintaining scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure • Strong Software Engineering fundamentals and coding proficiency in Go or Typescript (or other relevant languages) • Experience with data structures, algorithms, and defensive programming • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Argo CD, Atlantis, or similar technologies • Deep understanding of CI/CD principles and best practices • Understanding of networking concepts and protocols • Extensive experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack • Knowledge of security best practices for cloud environments • Excellent communication skills in English, written and verbal • Ability to work effectively in a remote and distributed team environment • Prior experience working specifically on platform engineering projects
