Beschreibung

• Manage staff responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies across categories • Direct and train staff conducting sourcing events and developing project plans, category profiles, strategies, requirements, evaluation criteria, and solicitations • Guide development and implementation of RFP, RFI, RFQ, and other bid documents • Manage status reporting and performance metrics for sourcing and category management activities • Analyze and forecast complex market and industry dynamics and share healthcare industry expertise • Partner with stakeholders to develop business and sourcing strategies and source products and services using tools, processes, and analytics • Evaluate sourcing results from a total-cost-of-ownership perspective and provide optimization recommendations • Participate in complex, cross-functional vendor negotiations involving specialized expertise and risk mitigation • Lead supplier category management and performance within an assigned category • Establish positive working relationships with vendor personnel and drive vendor engagement • Engage stakeholders to implement category management plans • Develop procedures, training, initiatives, specifications, and recommendations for process or policy improvements

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree where required • 8+ years of experience in a related field • In lieu of degree, 10+ years of experience in a related field • Demonstrated success developing and executing sourcing strategies across complex, multi-category healthcare environments • Experience with healthcare analytics, utilization management, care management, payment integrity, and pharmacy • Experience with contract types including SaaS and services and varied pricing models • Expertise in contract negotiation and drafting • Ability to build cross-functional relationships, influence senior stakeholders, and lead enterprise-wide initiatives • Experience fostering collaborative cultures and providing coaching and mentorship • Experience leading vendor selection and strategic partner evaluation and onboarding in healthcare • Ability to identify cost-saving opportunities and implement value-based sourcing initiatives • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs • Strong understanding of compliance, risk management, and regulatory frameworks in sourcing and category management • Exceptional communication, leadership, and change management skills • Commitment to continuous improvement and staying current with healthcare sourcing and procurement trends, regulations, and best practices • Authorization to work in the United States
