Beschreibung

• Provide technical leadership and direction for the engineering team • Guide project delivery while mentoring and growing team members • Determine project requirements and develop team work schedules • Delegate tasks and achieve daily, weekly, and monthly goals • Liaise with team members, management, and clients to ensure projects meet standards • Identify risks and form contingency plans • Analyze existing operations and schedule training sessions and improvement meetings • Keep up to date with industry trends and developments, particularly emerging AI tools and capabilities • Update work schedules and troubleshoot as required • Motivate staff and create an environment where they can ask questions and raise concerns • Communicate challenges, failures, and successes transparently • Write progress reports and deliver stakeholder presentations • Champion adoption of AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, and ChatGPT • Model and encourage continuous, self-directed learning about AI and emerging technologies • Share relevant tools, techniques, and best practices with the team

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field • Relevant management certification may be required • Experience in a similar role would be advantageous • Excellent technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills • Strong leadership and organizational abilities • Willingness to build professional relationships with staff and clients • Excellent communication, motivational, and interpersonal skills • Working knowledge of AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT) and experience applying them responsibly within a software development workflow • A demonstrated growth mindset and commitment to self-directed learning, with a particular interest in staying current on emerging AI technologies and capabilities
