Beschreibung

• Lead the compliance team and foster a high-performance culture focused on accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement • Oversee and troubleshoot HUD vouchering, contract renewals, and MOR preparation and responses • Ensure timely review of tenant move-in and annual income certifications and recertifications for LIHTC/HUD/HOME-regulated properties • Support property operations by ensuring correct application of LIHTC, HOME, tax-exempt bond, and other program regulations • Provide guidance on conflicts among applicable affordable housing programs • Support agency and investor file and physical reviews, including advance file reviews, deficiency reporting, documentation, and responses to monitoring findings • Maintain income limits, rent limits, and utility allowances and coordinate annual rent adjustments • Oversee or prepare HUD HAP voucher, OCAF, budget-based rent increase, management agent certification renewal, MOR, and REAC submissions • Ensure accurate and timely annual owner certifications under Treasury/IRS, HUD, and housing finance or credit agency requirements • Oversee internal compliance review software and file review deadlines • Support Yardi Systems compliance controls for income set-asides, rents, utility allowances, and affordable program structures • Review, submit, and track first-year files for syndicator audits and QOS reports • Assist with compliance planning and implementation at newly acquired properties and oversee integration into compliance processes • Develop staff potential through teaching, mentoring, collaboration, and assessment • Foster relationships with clients and associated agencies • Conduct and oversee individual and group training • Make decisions regarding questionable household eligibility and files, consulting the VP of Compliance Services when necessary • Monitor regulatory agreements and special claims submissions, approvals, and denials • Develop and oversee internal reporting controls, including monthly compliance matrices and occupancy-rule tracking • Communicate program changes to field personnel and ensure timely implementation • Standardize and oversee monthly reporting to external entities • Complete special projects and other assigned duties

🎯 Anforderungen

• Seven or more years in property/real estate management required • Seven or more years of affordable housing compliance experience with management experience • Four or more years in management positions required • Property level and Corporate level experience is strongly preferred • Bachelor’s Degree or comparable industry experience required • CPO or COC certification preferred • HCCP or comparable tax credit housing certification required • Ability to understand all aspects of LIHTC, HUD, and other Affordable Housing programs • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Highly organized with attention to detail • Ability to plan and prioritize workload • Ability to communicate and interact effectively with all levels of management, the public, clients, potential clients, and outside vendors • Strong negotiation skills and ability to resolve conflicts and problems effectively • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and discretion • Ability to perform multiple tasks and meet critical deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality • Background Screening and Drug Test Required
