Beschreibung

• Own feature delivery from technical approach through production with a high degree of autonomy • Design and build end-to-end software features • Write unit tests and validate performance, security, and reliability requirements before QA handoff • Identify bugs, determine root causes, and proactively address issues • Translate UX designs into working, accessible software • Research emerging tools, frameworks, and AI-assisted development practices • Document technical research as decision guides and proposal documents • Manage testing environments and execute safe, reliable deployments across environments • Monitor releases for early signs of regression • Partner with the Architect on technical design and architecture decisions • Provide senior technical guidance and ensure execution aligns with architectural direction • Serve as a senior escalation point for production issues and perform root cause analysis • Communicate incident findings to Ops and non-technical stakeholders • Coordinate with SRE on releases • Conduct code reviews and mentor junior and mid-level engineers • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, OR equivalent practical experience • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience • Demonstrated ability in full-stack development • Strong proficiency in Python, FastAPI, AWS Lambda Powertools, TypeScript, and JavaScript • Experience prototyping proof-of-concepts for new tools, frameworks, or AI-assisted workflows • Knowledge of system design, debugging, and unit/integration testing, including pytest • Critical and analytical thinking for ambiguous, end-to-end technical problems • Experience with code review practices and constructive, substantive feedback • Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, including GitHub Actions • AWS deployment experience and production-release risk assessment • Ability to interpret acceptance criteria and validate performance, security, and reliability requirements • Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude Code • Ability to critically verify AI-generated output • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including explaining technical issues to non-technical stakeholders • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills • Preferred: React, Tailwind CSS, and WCAG-conformant accessible interfaces • Preferred: Dynatrace, OpenTelemetry, and AWS CloudWatch • Preferred: Mentorship or coaching experience • Preferred: Python for AI/ML prototyping • Preferred: Auto finance, lending, or compliance-driven software domain knowledge
