Beschreibung

• Assist the Trade Compliance function with developing and managing a comprehensive export/import framework • Support trade compliance review and approval for export licensing, technical data, foreign travel, foreign visits, re-exports, retransfers, and export/import shipments under UK, EU, and US laws • Gain hands-on knowledge of UK export licensing requirements for dual-use and military goods and technology • Support processing export shipments in compliance with HMRC, UK Strategic Export Controls, and other foreign export controls • Review and process End User declarations and undertakings • Determine export classification and identify license requirements • Collaborate with G&H sites to ensure export authorizations and documentation are in place • Prepare and submit export license applications with senior trade compliance staff • Maintain accurate export transaction records in accordance with ITAR, EAR, and other US regulatory requirements • Ensure consistent adherence to export procedures across G&H sites • Review and evaluate shipping documentation for regulatory and company-policy compliance • Maintain trade compliance records • Coordinate with internal departments to support compliant trade operations • Support new process requirements across the business • Support reports and audits related to trade compliance activities • Maintain compliance with international trade laws, including HTS classification, ECCN, COO, and FTA requirements • Conduct audits, risk assessments, and internal reviews • Report to the UK Trade Compliance Manager and work with the US counterpart on Group trade compliance and security activities

🎯 Anforderungen

• Established understanding of import and/or export controls • Good understanding of import and export processes, regulations and procedures • Experience managing export licenses and/or reviewing export documentation • Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify potential compliance issues • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Demonstrate structured problem-solving methodologies • Previous experience of U.S. Customs regulations and ITAR preferred • Background within an aerospace or defence manufacturing environment preferred • Degree level Engineering qualification preferred but not essential • Must be able to hold and maintain UK Government clearances • UK applicants must be able to successfully complete security vetting to the UK government’s Baseline Personnel Security Standard, including a criminal record check • Potential eligibility may be restricted by nationality, previously held nationalities, or place of birth due to government security and export control restrictions
