Beschreibung

• Lead quality execution and continuous improvement across the Fossil Americas service value stream • Support the quality operating rhythm through reporting, trend analysis, and action planning • Track customer experience, nonconformances, cost of poor quality, audits, and corrective actions • Drive nonconformance management, including issue capture, containment, resolution, and closure • Lead and support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action processes using 8D, A3, 5 Why, and other structured tools • Partner with operating leaders and cross-functional teams to identify recurring issues and implement sustainable countermeasures • Apply lean principles and quality planning and control methods to eliminate waste and improve process capability • Drive continuous improvement across safety, quality, delivery, and cost • Monitor quality trends and risks across field service, repairs, parts, and operations, escalating systemic issues as needed • Ensure effective use of quality systems and tools, including PowerNow Platform for NCRs and RCAs • Support audit readiness, procedural and standards compliance, and sustainment of process improvements • Coach teams in quality fundamentals, problem solving, and prevention-based thinking • Support the Quality Manager for the Industrial Segment as part of the Business Operations One Team

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality management, or a related technical discipline from an accredited college or university • Proven and relevant experience in quality in manufacturing, field service, operations, or continuous improvement within power generation, energy, heavy industrial, or a related industry • Demonstrated experience leading nonconformance management, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive action processes • Experience working cross-functionally in a matrixed environment • Strong commitment to safety, quality, and compliance • Ability and willingness to travel domestically approximately 10–30% • Experience in power generation equipment and services, including steam turbines, generators, and plant auxiliaries • Strong knowledge of quality systems, continuous improvement, and structured problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, A3, 5 Why, fishbone, FMEA, and CAPA • Experience supporting complex projects and providing quality guidance across multiple functions • Familiarity with field service, repairs, outage execution, installation, welding, diagnostics, NDT, or related service operations • Knowledge of applicable technical regulations, standards, and compliance requirements • Strong analytical skills, including interpreting trends, identifying systemic issues, and translating data into action • Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence, build credibility quickly, and drive change across multi-disciplinary teams • Self-motivated, organized, and execution-oriented, with strong follow-through • Canadian applicants must have legal authorization to work in Canada • Applicants for the U.S.-based opening must be legally authorized to work in the United States • Successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen for the U.S.-based opening, as applicable
