Beschreibung

• Manage the donor database, including data maintenance, gift processing, acknowledgments, reporting, solicitations, list maintenance, and communication mailings • Reconcile donor database deposits with QuickBooks reports • Generate reports for mailings, donations, bank deposits, board reports, annual audits, and 990 preparations • Stay current on fundraising software changes and features • Assist with online store operations, product management, order processing, and design tasks • Develop and maintain policies and procedures for data integrity, analysis, reporting, and compliance • Assist with online fundraising events and fundraising administration • Respond to donor, grantmaker, and corporate sponsor inquiries • Implement donor stewardship strategies and cultivate new donor relationships • Support fundraising events, including mailings and auction logistics • Draft and design fundraising email communications and campaigns • Maintain the cloud-based document management system • Research private foundation and corporate sponsorship, giving, and grant programs • Draft grant proposals and help develop grant proposal strategy • Maintain grant deadline calendars, budgets, payment records, and communications • Create monthly grant activity reports • Use Foundation Directory Online and Instrumentl • Cultivate foundation and corporate contacts • Schedule meetings and presentations with potential funders • Submit grant proposals and supporting materials • Manage and fulfill grant reporting requirements • Perform other community relations and development activities as needed

🎯 Anforderungen

• 2-3 years of analytical, administrative, or organizational experience • 2-3 years in a nonprofit setting • Animal welfare field knowledge or experience is a plus • Strong attention to detail, copyediting, and organizational skills • Data management and reconciliation skills • Experience with gift entry and reporting in donor database systems such as Neon • Experience with Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel, monday.com, Google Docs, Dropbox, and similar cloud-based applications • Experience with writing and research; grant writing is a plus • Ability to work under deadlines and juggle multiple projects • Ability to collaborate with staff and board • Ability to self-manage time while working remotely • Candidates must be located anywhere in the United States • Availability to work some hours between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm Eastern time, Monday through Friday
