Beschreibung

• Lead the Frontend Platform and Navigation squads, owning performance, delivery and customer outcomes • Set expectations, delegate, coach and develop team members, provide feedback, address performance gaps, and build trust and accountability • Own hiring and team planning across both squads • Lead discovery with customers, community members and internal users to shape roadmaps and priorities • Partner with Product, Design and engineering leaders to set priorities, resolve dependencies and make trade-offs • Own delivery from discovery through rollout and measurement, setting milestones and managing risks • Use AI in management work to synthesize research, inform roadmap and resourcing decisions, and streamline coordination and reporting • Improve squad planning, decision-making and delivery through AI and automation • Set engineering direction for frontend foundations, developer experience, accessibility, architecture, tooling, reliability and multitenant capabilities • Set engineering direction for navigation, search and resource organization, including AI-assisted discovery • Uphold quality, security and operability standards, including validation of AI-assisted work • Lead improvements across Grafana and R&D to increase engineering productivity and business outcomes • Participate in the engineering management on-call rota and drive improvements that reduce recurring disruption • Use Grafana’s AI capabilities for observability and incident investigation, contributing to product feedback and roadmap decisions

🎯 Anforderungen

• Significant experience managing senior engineers, building healthy teams and developing technical leaders • Strong technical foundation in modern web or frontend systems • Track record of turning ambiguous, cross-team problems into clear priorities and measurable results • Strong product and customer judgement • Clear, concise written communication • Ability to work effectively in a remote, globally distributed organisation • Appreciation for open-source development • Practical experience using AI and automation in leadership work • Experience with React, TypeScript or comparable large-scale frontend ecosystems (bonus) • Experience leading a developer platform team, including support for plugins or extensions (bonus) • Experience with navigation, search, information architecture or resource-management products (bonus) • Experience delivering multitenant SaaS or major platform migrations (bonus) • Experience working on a widely adopted open-source product (bonus)
