Beschreibung

• Lead sustainability, safety, and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) strategy and actions across multiple facilities • Drive compliance with environmental regulations and minimize environmental impact • Promote continuous improvement efforts across multiple sites to achieve compliance and sustainability goals • Analyze data, track progress, and identify and prioritize actions needed to achieve targets • Gain organizational support for initiatives and projects and communicate progress to key stakeholders • Track and report environmental compliance metrics • Develop solutions and respond to evolving regulatory requirements • Communicate with Operations, Facilities, and Leadership about metrics, environmental risks, violations, audit results, action plans, and risk mitigation • Review and investigate incident reports associated with environmental spills and compliance • Compile findings and corrective-action recommendations into summary reports • Provide insight on environmental governance, risk management, and controls • Liaise with external environmental regulatory agencies • Implement and manage EHS key performance indicators • Serve as the subject matter expert for OSHA compliance and ensure safety-related incidents are accurately reported and thoroughly investigated

🎯 Anforderungen

• 5 years of progressively responsible experience implementing environmental compliance programs • 3 years of supervisory/management experience in a team-focused environment • Experience interpreting and applying state and federal environmental regulations • Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, or related field or equivalent related work or military experience (preferred) • 8+ years of experience implementing environmental compliance programs (preferred) • Project management experience (preferred) • May be required to pass a pre-employment drug test after receiving a conditional offer • Must comply with GXO policies and CDC, OSHA, and state and local COVID safety requirements
