Beschreibung

• Join a product team contributing to software design, development, and the overall product lifecycle for store selling systems • Collaborate and pair with UX, engineering, and product management to create secure, reliable, scalable software solutions • Document, review, and ensure quality and change control standards • Write code and scripts to automate infrastructure, monitoring services, test cases, and destructive testing • Create dashboards, logging, alerting, and responses to proactively capture and address issues • Contribute to enterprise-wide tools for destructive testing, automation, and engineering empowerment • Identify product enhancements and unsecured code areas, implementing fixes • Identify, implement, and share technical solutions across the organization • Create reusable foundational code elements, architecture diagrams, and product documentation • Define Service Level Objectives and prioritize reliability backlog work • Field questions from product and support teams and provide production application support • Monitor production Service Level Objectives, performance, and capacity • Work with vendors and the open-source community on feature enhancements • Create API specifications and contracts for shared data • Triage high-priority issues and outages • Lead and participate in communities of practice and learn and apply new technologies • Build and grow junior engineers' skillsets

🎯 Anforderungen

• Must be eighteen years of age or older • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States • 6 years of relevant work experience • Bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job • Mastery of a modern programming language, preferably Java • Mastery of a modern web application framework such as Spring MVC and Quarkus • Data engineering experience at scale • Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL data modeling • Proficiency in modern microservice-based architectures and methodologies, including Event Driven Design • Mastery of version control systems, preferably Git • Proficiency in Linux or Unix-based environments • Proficiency in CI/CD toolchains • Proficiency in destructive testing methodologies and tools • Proficiency in a cloud computing platform and associated automation patterns • Proficiency in production systems design, including high availability, disaster recovery, performance, efficiency, and security • Proficiency in defensive coding practices and patterns for high availability • Proficiency in design patterns • Proficiency in test-driven development and unit test creation • Proficiency in query optimization and troubleshooting • Experience with 12-factor methodology • Proficiency in designing and implementing RESTful web services
