Beschreibung

• Own the operational health, availability, and performance of Azure environments across multiple subscriptions and workloads • Manage and support Azure computer, networking, storage, identity, and platform services • Monitor workloads using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights, ensuring actionable alerting and timely response • Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and post-incident remediation • Perform platform maintenance, upgrades, security remediation, and configuration changes • Partner with security and compliance teams on organizational and regulatory requirements • Support Azure cost visibility and optimization efforts • Implement and maintain Azure infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code • Maintain standardized Azure deployments aligned with naming, tagging, diagnostics, and security best practices • Support Azure governance capabilities including management groups, Azure Policy, RBAC, and subscription structure • Automate operational tasks using PowerShell, Azure CLI, and CI/CD pipelines • Collaborate with application and DevOps teams on secure and scalable Azure solutions • Engage business and IT partners to understand needs, map them to Azure services, and recommend improvements • Participate in IT huddles, all hands, and collaborative working sessions • Cross-train IT Operations team members and serve as an operational alternate when needed • Create and maintain technical documentation, operational runbooks, and platform standards • Monitor and report platform operational metrics monthly and quarterly • Improve platform design and operations according to Microsoft’s Azure Well-Architected Framework and business needs • Respond effectively to incidents to reduce recurrence and improve platform resilience

🎯 Anforderungen

• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure, cloud, or systems engineering roles • 3+ years of hands-on Microsoft Azure experience in production environments • Demonstrated experience supporting and operating cloud platforms in an enterprise environment • Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience will be considered • Microsoft Azure certifications preferred • Strong experience with Microsoft Azure IaaS and PaaS services • Experience implementing or maintaining Infrastructure as Code using Bicep, ARM, or Terraform • Scripting and automation using PowerShell and/or Azure CLI • Solid understanding of Azure identity, networking, and security fundamentals • Familiarity with Azure Policy, RBAC, and governance models • Fluency with the Azure Well-Architected Framework • Mature orthodox Christian faith as defined by the Apostles’ Creed • Right to work in the United States • Ability to complete background check, police clearance, and reference checks • Submission of resume, cover letter, and statement of faith in one PDF document
