Beschreibung

• Conduct country of origin determinations for products in accordance with CBP regulations and international trade agreements • Apply rules of origin, including substantial transformation and tariff shift analysis • Ensure compliance with origin marking and labeling requirements • Analyze trade regulations, tariffs, and trade agreements • Collaborate with procurement, logistics, legal, supply chain, and regulatory teams • Develop and maintain documentation and records for country-of-origin determinations and compliance activities • Conduct audits and maintain documentation supporting COO claims, including supplier affidavits and manufacturing processes • Provide training and guidance on country-of-origin requirements and compliance best practices • Monitor regulatory changes, assess organizational impact, and update compliance procedures • Participate in trade compliance projects improving country-of-origin processes and systems • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Anforderungen

• 2-4 years of related professional experience in trade compliance, customs regulations, or international trade • Strong understanding of COO determination methods, including substantial transformation, tariff shift, and regional value calculations • Familiarity with HTS classification and trade agreements • Exceptional Excel skills and data analysis • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret regulatory language • Effective communication skills to collaborate across departments • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously • Up to 10% travel within North America • Valid passport or ability to obtain one • Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) and/or Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) or similar trade compliance certification preferred • Experience with U.S. Customs (CBP) rulings preferred • Bilingual Spanish/English preferred
