Beschreibung

• Post payments, refunds, and adjustments to accounts within designated time frames • Complete assigned work queues within designated time frames • Balance receipts, reconcile daily batches, and prepare audit trails according to department guidelines • Review Explanation of Benefits for reimbursement errors or inconsistencies • Identify fee schedule allowable differences and communicate them for updating • Communicate payer trends to management • Follow up with insurance companies on denials and inquiries to resolve accounts • Provide additional information or documentation as needed • Note actions taken on accounts and verify and update insurance according to department policy • Process account adjustments in compliance with department policy • Enroll, validate, and re-validate practitioner information with government and commercial payers • Update databases and monitor Medicare and commercial payer websites for revalidation notices • Communicate provider changes to contracted health plans and relevant departments using standardized reports • Assist with processing applications according to organizational policies, procedures, and health plan requirements • Audit provider data for accuracy • Communicate roster changes from physician groups • Review Epic Charge work queues, correct errors, and follow up with departments • Review daily Epic charge router reconciliation reports to ensure charges are filed and interfaced • Assist departments with duplicate, missing, or rejected charge corrections • Analyze revenue trending reports and escalate problems to the manager and departments • Attend and actively participate in training and education • Meet department goals and productivity and quality standards

🎯 Anforderungen

• High School Graduate or GED • Must be able to perform the professional, clinical and/or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department • Compliance with governmental and managed care rules and regulations • Preferred: 1 or more years of experience in Epic
