Beschreibung

• Plan, manage, and direct the activities of the distribution consulting team • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of engineers through performance management and employee development initiatives • Handle resource planning and administration of department policies and procedures • Drive high-quality customer outcomes while leading major engineering and training initiatives • Lead business development efforts for the distribution consulting sector • Identify market opportunities and shape solution offerings • Represent MEPPI within the electric utility industry and maintain professional networks • Participate in national and regional forums such as CIGRE and IEEE • Serve as the organization's lead expert for distribution planning and related consulting services • Provide technical leadership internally to staff and externally to utility clients • Perform distribution planning studies and manage high-level consulting engagements

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with emphasis on electric power engineering, or equivalent technical discipline • Minimum of 5 years of experience in power systems studies consulting, electric utility system planning, or T&D manufacturer's application engineering • Equivalent education and experience in areas key to the position may be considered • Advanced knowledge of electric grid consulting and power systems engineering • Advanced knowledge of power systems, computer methods, and analytical techniques • Advanced technical writing skills • Advanced interpersonal communication and presentation skills • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills • Advanced computer skills, especially Microsoft Office products and power systems analysis software tools
