Beschreibung

• Plan, execute, and optimize digital content across NILC and IJF platforms • Produce social media graphics, infographics, videos, and other digital design elements • Create, edit, and oversee websites, email programs, blogs, and social media accounts • Develop and publish daily digital content and maintain content calendars • Identify opportunities to increase brand visibility and grow digital audiences • Execute creative and culturally relevant social media and digital distribution tactics • Cultivate relationships with partners and social media influencers • Develop and execute free and paid digital campaigns • Manage strategy and content for advocacy components of supporter email lists • Support short- and long-term digital strategies and implement day-to-day digital communications work • Collaborate on digital strategies supporting programs, advocacy, public education, events, media, development, and marketing campaigns • Mentor Communications staff through editing, guidance, and support • Provide social media and digital coverage during off-hours, events, rallies, and other functions • Monitor trends and emerging practices and recommend new digital platforms • Establish metrics, analyze performance, and report digital media results to leadership • Oversee outside consultants or vendors as needed • Participate in organization, department, project, and individual meetings

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Communications, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent work experience required • 7–10+ years of digital communications and social media experience • 4+ years developing and executing digital plans • 2+ years of email campaign experience • Expertise in online organizing and digital best practices, including metrics/analytics • Familiarity with multiple CRM and CMS systems and digital applications • Familiarity with list/database management and growth • Experience writing about social justice issues and leveraging digital/social assets in campaigns • Experience with website management, including Drupal and WordPress, and leading website redesign projects • Political and/or policy experience required • Master’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or another relevant field preferred • Nonprofit or social justice organization experience preferred • Online media production, especially video and graphics, preferred • Proficiency in non-English languages spoken by Latinx, Asian, Pacific Islander, African, Caribbean, and Arab communities preferred • Fluency in more than one language desirable • Must live in one of the approved work locations
