Beschreibung

• Identify and maintain sourcing for new and existing contract-manufactured food and dietary supplement labeled products • Assure timely delivery of finished products meeting specifications, cost targets, and volume requirements • Execute annual cost reductions and ensure finished goods meet required specifications • Develop and maintain business relationships with contract manufacturers • Act as liaison and single point of contact between contract manufacturers and functional departments • Develop and refresh operating strategy for specified domestic contract operations • Analyze external manufacturers and maintain the contract operations sourcing pipeline • Collaborate with Contract Ops Account Managers and internal R&D, QA, Supply Chain Operations, and Operations Business teams • Identify capable outside manufacturers within quality, regulatory, and cost parameters • Negotiate contracts and establish KPIs to drive continuous improvement and reduce total delivered cost • Develop communication links between external manufacturers and internal interfaces • Use detailed project plans to meet launch and customer shipment timelines • Identify and share best practices across the supply chain network • Ensure compliance with Nestlé standards through touchpoints and visits • Contribute to Make-or-Buy analyses • Conduct annual business reviews with contract manufacturing locations • Participate in annual quality audits • Aid Procurement in ensuring supply

🎯 Anforderungen

• University graduate in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field • 7+ years of food or dietary supplement manufacturing experience in supply chain, plant operations, purchasing, engineering, or sourcing/contract manufacturing • Ability to work with customers at all organizational levels, internally and externally • Willingness to travel 25% • Ability to apply multidisciplinary business principles and practices in cross-functional projects • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines • Experience developing, implementing, and sustaining processes • Ability to hold contract food manufacturers accountable for production supply and cost expectations • Strong analytical and reconciliation abilities • Understanding of manufacturing cost drivers • Ability to analyze and interpret data • Ability to interpret contract language • Relationship management skills • Ability to operate independently and lead activities with little direction • Experience interpreting and implementing technical changes in a manufacturing environment • Ability to translate Nestlé requirements into contract food manufacturers' terms and systems • Ability to influence internal and external partners • Ability to identify issues and develop comprehensive action plans • Working knowledge of FDA requirements for food • Not eligible for visa sponsorship
