Beschreibung

• Partner with account teams and customers early in the sales cycle to shape opportunities using value engineering frameworks • Facilitate discovery discussions to uncover business drivers, financial constraints, and decision criteria • Translate customer challenges into quantifiable cost, risk, and growth impact • Build financial models including TCO, ROI, NPV, cash flow, and lifecycle analysis • Quantify the cost of inaction and compare current-state and future-state financial impact • Develop comparisons across status quo, incremental change, modernization, consumption models, and competition • Partner with Solution Architects to connect technical architecture decisions to measurable business outcomes • Translate technical capabilities into financial and strategic impact aligned with executive priorities • Optimize solutions for cost, performance, flexibility, and risk • Create and present executive-level value business cases, financial analyses, models, and customer value narratives • Deliver transparent, defensible outputs aligned to customer-validated assumptions • Influence deal strategy and win rates by anchoring conversations on economic impact • Position NetApp solutions against alternatives through lifecycle value, flexibility, and risk mitigation • Support complex, multi-year, and subscription-based sales motions • Develop reusable frameworks, templates, and tools to scale value engineering • Enable account teams through value-based selling techniques, financial storytelling, and discovery frameworks

🎯 Anforderungen

• 8–12+ years of experience in Solution Engineering, Consulting, Value Engineering, or related roles • Demonstrated experience building and presenting TCO, ROI, and NPV financial models • Ability to connect technical solutions to business and financial outcomes • Executive-level communication and presentation skills • Experience supporting complex enterprise sales cycles • Passion for coaching, enabling, and training internal resources • Familiarity with lifecycle management and modernization strategies • Experience developing sales frameworks, tools, or enablement programs • Experience with subscription, consumption, or as-a-service models preferred • Background in infrastructure, cloud, and data management solutions preferred • Experience leading or being a team lead preferred • Advanced degree in MBA, Finance, or related discipline preferred • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience
