Beschreibung

• Manage, plan, monitor and support the OHSU annual budget process • Provide financial support for collecting and processing budget data across Research, Education and Central Research & Academic business lines • Develop and maintain P&Ls, Budget Status reports and instructional-level reports • Manage monthly variance analysis, reporting and reconciliation processes • Balance and reconcile accounts for Academic units • Present financial information, findings, analysis and recommendations to executives, directors, administrators and other end users • Validate and enter budget data aligned with approved budgets • Prepare operating budgets, financial forecasts, scenarios and projections • Track department commitments, expenses and financial goals • Mentor and support education financial employees and Research & Education finance staff • Prepare monthly financial reports and recommendations for mitigating negative trends • Prepare cost-benefit analyses, risk analyses, new program pro formas and special financial reports • Approve requisitions, journal entries and expenditure requests and verify expense budgeting • Manage expenditures and tracking for special projects and initiative funds • Collaborate with Finance Officers, Directors, Administrators and others to define and allocate strategic resources • Provide oral and written financial advice and recommendations • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor’s degree and 18 hours of accounting and/or finance courses from an accredited college or university • At least six years’ experience in financial/budget/payroll analysis • At least one year of supervisor or management experience • Master of Business Administration or Finance or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) may substitute for 2 years of experience • Highly proficient with computers, including database and spreadsheet applications • Proficient with Windows and PC applications including Excel, Oracle, Access, Word and PowerPoint • Ability to mentor and coach a work unit • Ability to organize resources, people and activities and achieve project and function goals • Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple projects without constant supervision • Effective communication with all organizational levels • Ability to perform job duties with or without accommodation • Preferred: at least one year of Oracle AIS experience • Preferred: at least one year of experience using Cognos TM1 • Preferred: experience using business intelligence tools • Preferred: experience in central funding, allocations and state funding • Preferred: familiarity with OHSU Policies and Procedures
