Beschreibung

• Take ownership of all field activities from project start-up through completion • Manage project safety, quality, schedule, planning, jobsite logistics, on-site management, subcontractor coordination, and risk assessment • Maintain and track the overall project schedule and create task-specific two- to three-week lookaheads • Provide real-time data to the Project Manager and Scheduler for schedule maintenance • Enforce site safety requirements, assist safety personnel, stop unsafe work, and counsel subcontractors and team members on violations • Train project team members on Gray software including CMO, Navisworks, Bluebeam, Concur, E-Time, and GoGray • Conduct site and weekly meetings to coordinate subcontractor activities • Prepare monthly reports covering safety, schedule, subcontractor performance, quality, budget, and customer relations • Collaborate with the Project Manager team on subcontract buyout and procurement scheduling • Lead, teach, coach, train, and mentor project team members • Establish and manage the jobsite safety culture in accordance with Gray’s safety program • Hold the site team accountable for Gray policies and procedures • Set up and close out construction sites • Walk projects daily to verify safe, quality, and on-schedule work • Communicate factual project information to project managers, design managers, customers, site teams, subcontractors, and field operations • Review and coordinate shop, architectural, and structural drawings and maintain current field sets • Study project documents to ensure construction follows plans, specifications, and contracts • Review project budgets and financial impacts with the Project Manager • Assist with scopes of work, subcontractor/vendor/supplier evaluation, pre-award meetings, cost-to-complete reports, monthly billings, and status reports • Implement project closeout and punch-list procedures • Coordinate and manage the project team to keep buyout and procurement on schedule • Assume ownership of the schedule after mobilization and manage it through closeout • Perform other assigned duties

🎯 Anforderungen

• Minimum of 10+ years of related construction experience • Preferred experience with overall responsibility for field activities on project sites, including collaboration between design, project, and schedule management • Demonstrated leadership abilities to manage and direct on-site project teams to successful completions • Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings, financial reports, and legal/contract documents • Strong people management skills • Energetic, self-motivated individual who enjoys a team environment and exemplifies Gray’s Core Values • Basic computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheet, and email applications • Skills utilizing Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel, and SharePoint • Must be able to travel to project sites throughout the United States and, in some cases, outside the U.S. • Selected candidate can live anywhere in the USA • This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship • Ability to frequently stand, walk, sit, use hands and arms, reach, and talk or hear • Ability to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch • Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 lbs and occasionally lift or move up to 100 lbs • Ability to work in wet/humid conditions, around moving mechanical parts, outdoors, at heights, around fumes or airborne particles, extreme temperatures, electrical shock risks, explosives, and vibration • Overtime may be required • May lead multiple subordinate supervisors and support staff • Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training, assigning work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining team members, addressing complaints, and resolving problems
