Beschreibung

• Ensure high reliability and correctness for Privacy.com card processing • Understand current system challenges and propose step function changes to future architecture • Drive large multi-month initiatives and roadmap • Ensure the team delivers reliable, secure, and scalable code • Lead efforts to improve systems and processes within the team and across engineering • Help drive strategic planning with engineering, product, and cross-functional leaders • Make tradeoffs between long-term investment and immediate product value • Participate in team on-call rotations • Balance hands-on coding with technical leadership to evolve the platform for scale • Become an expert in card payments and solve distributed systems problems at scale • Make architectural and product decisions • Mentor other engineers

🎯 Anforderungen

• 8+ years of experience shipping code in a fast paced production environment • Experience building event-based and advanced distributed systems • Strong sense of ownership and accountability for your work • Technical lead for a small team • Driven large multi-month migration/re-architecturing projects • Experience mentoring and coaching other engineers on distributed systems patterns and best practices • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (designers, PMs, operations) • Excellent communication skills and enthusiasm for learning • Candidates must be located in the United States, Canada (Ontario or British Columbia), Netherlands, Poland, or Czech Republic • No visa sponsorship or assistance offered
