Beschreibung

• Coordinate and submit planned outage requests according to approved outage coordination plans and project sequencing requirements • Serve as the primary client interface from project opportunity assessment and qualification through correspondence, inquiries, and submittals • Conduct site walkthroughs to define project scope and revisions • Assist with or generate project proposals • Review construction drawings, bills of material, and project documentation to procure Protection & Control equipment for substation control houses • Develop and maintain wiring sheets, termination documentation, and as-built records • Provide field leadership and technical direction to wiremen and installation personnel during construction and pre-commissioning • Verify protection schemes and zones of protection for relay coordination and equipment tripping functions • Maintain and oversee schedules and coordinate project resources • Collaborate with Operations to secure equipment and labor • Assist with onsite work and material procurement as needed • Coordinate with engineering, construction, testing, and operations personnel to resolve installation and functional issues before commissioning • Perform PT/CCVT secondary circuit inspections, testing, and checkout

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or Electrical Engineering Technology (BSET) from an ABET university, with power systems emphasis preferred • Navy Nuclear experience, including attending “A” school, EWS or PPWS experience, Electrician’s Mate experience, or Electronics Technician experience accepted in lieu of a bachelor’s degree • 0–2 years of relevant post-education experience in an electrical engineering capacity; experience leading large complex power-industry projects preferred • Experience reading and interpreting one-line, AC & DC elementary, and wiring diagrams • Proficient computer, computer network, and Android/iPhone application skills • Microsoft Office suite proficiency • Ability to map drive letters for server connections • Ability to obtain, install, and connect handheld-device apps to cloud or other locations • Strong work ethic and ability to resolve project issues independently • Ability to read company manuals, reports, workplace rules, and procedures • Ability to speak with poise and confidence using correct English • Valid driver’s license and good driving record • Ability to communicate orally and hear at a conversational level • Ability to perform telephone and computer tasks, keying functions, and grasping/pinching to write • Ability to frequently stand, walk, sit, reach, climb or balance, stoop or kneel, talk and hear, and use fingers and hands to feel objects and tools • Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds • Close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
